Michael Gubbins is one of the most experienced moderators, chairs and speakers in the European industry. He has chaired the Europa Cinemas annual conference for 15 years and chairs key events for Europa Distribution and EUROVOD and on several occasions the European Audiovisual Observatory event at the Cannes Film Festival. He has moderated events at Cannes, the Berlin Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival, Series Mania, Arthouse Convergence (Sundance) and annual festivals, including San Sebastián, Karlovy Vary, Bogotá, Vilnius, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Power to the Pixel, Barcelona, Estoril, Birmingham
