This week sees the publication of a report, based on a series of Zoom workshops hosted by SampoMedia’s Michael Gubbins for UniFrance looking for long-term lessons from the Covid-19 crisis.
The series ran over seven weeks from the height of lockdown to the beginning of the reopening of cinemas across Europe.
UniFrance was looking for broad perspectives and the series covered every area of the film business, from production to festivals and independent sales distribution to the Oscars.
It was an international series with participants from across Europe, the US, Canada, Colombia and the Philippines.
